NSW Imagery CacheThe NSW Imagery Cache brings together imagery from multiple sources, including captures by DCS Spatial Services, imagery procured by NSW Government agencies, and satellite imagery provided by the Remote Sensing and Landscape Science Branch (DCCEEW).

Imagery currency varies across the state and by zoom level. In some areas, image resolution is prioritised over currency to provide a better visual experience.

In the Explorer platform (https://portal.spatial.nsw.gov.au/explorer/index.html), users can view the capture date of the image being viewed using the Identify tool. This feature is not available in the API service or Map Viewers available through the Spatial Collaboration Portal.
